Automation

 

The Associate of Automation (AAS) (Instrumentation and Electrical) program allows students to graduate with a Level II Certificate from Odessa College or an Associates Degree in Automation during their senior year. After high school, students have the opportunity to continue pursuing their education at Odessa College or go straight into the workforce.

 

Important Automation details:

  1. Students earn an Associate Degree through Odessa College by concurrently completing 60+ college hours while completing their high school course requirements. Students complete 46 Automation hours to complete Level 1 and 2 certificate and 28 core hours.
  2. Students may complete the Level 1 and 2 certificate only if accepted.
  3. Freshmen, sophomores, and juniors may apply.
  4. Students must start their freshman or sophomore year to complete the Associate Degree.
