Dual Credit
DUAL CREDIT INFORMATION
Dual credit is a program for high school students to take college courses while in high school and receive credit for both high school graduation and a college degree. Andrews High School is partnered with Odessa College. Dual credit students can earn hours, a certificate, or an Associates Degree.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
ENROLLING IN DUAL CREDIT
Students interested in taking dual credit must follow the steps below.
Step 1: Students complete the Selection Form provided by AHS and a dual credit program
Interest Form if applicable.
Step 2: Complete the OC Dual Credit Application. Please make sure you create your account and apply. This step only applies to students who are NEW to dual credit.
Step 3: Take the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) and meet qualifying scores. Make sure all TSI scores are provided to [email protected].
TEXAS SUCCESS INITIATIVE ASSESSMENT (TSIA)
The TSIA 2.0 exam is utilized to determine if students are college ready. Students must meet TSIA requirements for any dual credit course they want to take. TSIA can be taken at AHS or Odessa College Andrews.

PAYING FOR DUAL CREDIT
