Mustang Football to play Greenwood at Grande Communications Stadium

ANDREWS, Texas – The Andrews High School Varsity football game versus Greenwood has been moved to Grande Communications Stadium in Midland, Texas.

To help with spacing and attendance capacity, the two schools mutually agreed to move the game to Grande Communications Stadium.

“This is the first time I will get to coach inside Grande Communications Stadium, so I am fired up for this opportunity,” Head Coach Ralph Mason said.

Grande Communications Stadium is a 15,000-seat stadium and is part of the Scharbauer Sports Complex. It is home to Midland Lee and Midland High football as well as several other sports teams.

Tickets will be available at the AISD Tax Office starting Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Similar to home games, fans will be asked to wear masks when entering and during the game at the stadium.

Grande Communications Stadium has a clear bag policy. Guests will only be allowed to carry bags that are clear plastic, vinyl or pvc and do not exceed 12” x 6” x 12”. Small clutch bags, approximately the size of a hand, can be taken into the venue with one of the clear plastic bags.

Purses larger than a clutch bag, briefcases, backpacks, fanny packs, cinch bags, luggage of any kind, non-approved seat cushions, diaper bags and camera bags are prohibited.
